Sapphic Scribbles is a catalogue of
lesbian authors and their books. I aim to provide comprehensive
information about the authors, their books, and the stockists at which you
can buy them.
If you are a first time visitor and already have a
favourite lesbian author, you will be able to locate her by
browsing the Author A-Z page.
I will write my own reviews of books that I have
read, but I'd like to make this site more of a community effort and invite
reviews from you.
If you have a review that you would like to submit, you can do so by
visiting the page about that book. The easiest way to check if
Sapphic-Scribbles has the book that you are interested in reviewing is to
perform a search or
browse to the page about the author. Alternatively, if you encounter
any problems or find that the book does not exist, you can submit your
review directly to me. Don't forget to include
the book details and your rating. |

What is Sapphic Scribbles all about?
The concept behind Sapphic Scribbles is
to network everything to do with lesbian books together "under one roof",
making the lives of book readers easier.
We all know from first hand
experience how difficult it can be to purchase titles written by our
favourite lesbian authors. Therefore wouldn't it be great if you had one
place where you could go to find out everything you needed to know. That's what I want to achieve with
Sapphic Scribbles; getting you involved in that process as being one of
the main aims, making this a kind of lesbian book community project
;).

Finding information about every single author in
the world of lesbian books and cataloguing their titles is a mammoth task. We all have
our information gathering techniques and you may have
advice/recommendations that would be
useful to many avid lesbian book readers out there. I would love to hear
from you if you would like to make a contribution.
Sapphic Scribbles aims to allow
interaction between you and this website. By submitting your own reviews and ratings
for books, you will give readers varying opinions about
titles that they are searching on—and
not just mine :).

fiction here.
