"I discovered lesbian fiction in particular several years after coming out to myself and I was appalled to see so many titles on my wish list already out of print; some of these books had only been written a few years previous. It became apparent that lesbian fiction had a much shorter shelf life than mainstream books. I managed to obtain some books straight from publishers; in some cases the shipping costs were nearly as expensive as the books themselves.

After extensively trawling the internet looking for suppliers for some books I reluctantly turned my attention to eBay and other second hand options. If you are anything like me though, there is nothing I like better than reading a nice crisp brand new book.
