Elizabeth Sims is the author of the Lambda Award-winning novel for best lesbian mystery, Damn Straight.
Elizabeth is a book person through and through. A 10-year veteran of bookselling, she has also written numerous book reviews for the Detroit Free Press. Her short fiction and poetry have appeared in Moving Out and The Smudge, and she was a winner of the 1986 Writer's Digest short fiction contest.
She studied at Michigan State University and Wayne State University, the latter at which she won the Tompkins Award for Fiction.
